Our AML and Verification Commitment
Every account we hold must be genuine, funded by legitimate money and traceable to a real person. This page explains exactly when we verify you, what we ask for and what happens next.
Our AML Policy Explained
We operate under licence MGA/B2C/458/2019 issued by the Malta Gaming Authority, and our anti-money-laundering programme is built on that regulator's requirements together with the UK rules that apply to our players. Money laundering and terrorist financing are criminal offences, and our licence depends on us actively preventing our platform from being used for either.
Our programme rests on three pillars: we know who our players are before money leaves the platform, we monitor activity for patterns that make no commercial sense, and we report suspicions to the relevant financial intelligence unit where the law requires it. We appoint a nominated Money Laundering Reporting Officer who owns this policy, trains our staff and reviews our controls every year.
When We Verify Your Account
Verification triggers
We verify every player at registration by checking your details against independent data sources. Full document verification takes place no later than your first withdrawal, and we may bring it forward at any point if a threshold or a risk signal requires it. In practice, most players complete verification once and never repeat it unless a document expires or a payment method changes.
Verification is a legal condition of holding an account with us, not a courtesy. Because we cannot pay winnings to an unverified person, we recommend completing it soon after registering rather than waiting for your first cashout.
- Photo ID: valid passport, driving licence or national identity card.
- Proof of address: utility bill, bank statement or official government letter dated within the last three months.
- Payment method ownership: photo of your debit card showing the last four digits, or a screenshot of your e-wallet or bank account showing your name and account details.
- Occasional supplementary documents where a source-of-funds check applies.
How Verification Works
The process runs inside your account, so nothing is sent by email. Standard checks clear within 24 to 48 hours, and straightforward cases are often approved the same working day. If a document is blurred, cropped or expired, we tell you precisely what to re-upload rather than rejecting the file without explanation.
- Open the Verification section of your account profile.
- Upload each document as a clear, uncropped photo or PDF.
- Our compliance team reviews the files, usually within 24 to 48 hours.
- You receive an email the moment your account is approved or if anything needs resubmitting.
How we protect your documents
Documents travel to us over an encrypted connection and are stored in an access-controlled repository that only our compliance team can reach. We never share verification files with third parties except where the law compels disclosure to a regulator or law-enforcement body, and we do not use them for marketing.
Source of Funds Checks
Where deposits exceed a level we treat as materially significant for your profile, or where your play pattern is inconsistent with your declared circumstances, we may ask where the money came from. This is not an accusation; it is a licence requirement that applies to every regulated operator.
Acceptable evidence includes recent payslips, employment contracts, audited accounts for self-employed players, pension statements, recorded gambling winnings or a solicitor's letter confirming an inheritance. Bank statements alone often do not establish a source, because they show money moving rather than money being earned. The better your evidence matches the amount and frequency of your deposits, the faster the review concludes.
Monitoring Deposits and Withdrawals
Every deposit and withdrawal passes automated screening for unusual size, frequency, velocity or structure, and flagged cases go to a human reviewer. Withdrawals follow the same-method rule: funds return to the debit card, e-wallet or bank account you used to deposit, with a maximum daily withdrawal of £10,000 and a minimum withdrawal of £10. Where a method cannot accept a refund, we pay by bank transfer to an account verified in your name.
Large or atypical transactions trigger enhanced due diligence. That can mean additional questions, a fresh source-of-funds request or a temporary hold on the withdrawal until the review closes. We would rather delay a payment for a day than move money we cannot explain.
| Withdrawal method | Processing time after approval |
|---|---|
| E-wallets (Skrill, Neteller, Trustly) | 0 to 24 hours |
| Visa or Mastercard Debit | 1 to 3 business days |
| Bank transfer | 3 to 5 business days |
If Verification Fails
When documents are missing, expired or inconsistent, we suspend withdrawal rights on the account until the matter is resolved. Deposits may continue for a short grace period, but we will not let an unverified account accumulate play indefinitely, and a failure to respond within the deadline we set leads to a full suspension.
If we establish that an account was opened with false details, belongs to someone excluded from gambling, or is linked to fraudulent or criminal activity, we close it, void any pending winnings and, where the law requires, report the matter to the authorities. Deposits traceable to a legitimate source are returned to that source; funds with no legitimate source are held pending instructions from the competent authority. You can appeal any decision by contacting [email protected], and unresolved complaints go to the Malta Gaming Authority's dispute channel or the relevant UK alternative dispute resolution scheme.
How Long We Keep Records
We retain verification documents, transaction records and source-of-funds evidence for five years after your account closes, because our licence obliges us to keep records that can reconstruct a player's activity. Only our compliance staff can access these files, and once the retention period ends we delete them securely. You may request a copy of the records we hold about you at any time under data-protection law by writing to our support team.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to verify before I can deposit?
No. Basic registration checks confirm your identity at sign-up, and you can deposit and play immediately. Full document verification is required no later than your first withdrawal, though we may request it earlier if thresholds or risk indicators apply.
How long does verification take?
Standard checks complete within 24 to 48 hours, and clear documents are often approved the same working day. You will receive an email either way.
Why are you asking where my money comes from?
Our licence requires source-of-funds checks when deposits reach a level that is materially significant for your profile. It is a routine legal obligation for all regulated operators, not an accusation against you.
Can I withdraw to a different card or account than I deposited with?
No. We apply a same-method rule and return funds to the original deposit method. If that method cannot accept a refund, we pay by bank transfer to an account verified in your name.
